16 1/2 " Viola made by Walt Senkow and son in Dallas, Texas. This viola has ribs and the outer back made by Walt Senkow while the top and graduation of inside of back was by his son. The back is a beautiful 2 piece maple as Walt Senkow started on this in the 1970's never to be finished until son did in 2009. This viola has exceptional sound and is actually priced much lower than violas with similar sounding qualities. The pattern on this viola is a distinctive Walt Senkow by design. It has a slight bulge on upper plates near neck and elegant pronounced C-bouts. A Senkow design unlike other viola patterns.
